GOD FORBID on CAPITAL CHAOS 2008 @ The Boardwalk~Orangevale, CA 5/28/2008 also on the bill were DEATH ANGEL, SOILENT GREEN & LIGHT THIS CITY God Forbid is an American heavy metal quintet formed in 1996 in East Brunswick, New Jersey. http://www.godforbid1.com/ Building up a following in the late 1990s by touring with bands such as GWAR, Nile, Cradle of Filth and Candiria, their first full album Reject the Sickness was released by 9 Volt Records in 1999. This album received heavy rotation from WSOU-FM in the New York City area and the band was subsequently signed to Century Media Records, releasing the album Determination in 2001. They played on the MTV2 Headbanger's Ball tour with Shadows Fall and Lamb of God. In 2004, they released Gone Forever, which increased their profile considerably and earned them a spot on Ozzfest. The next year, they released IV: Constitution of Treason, a concept album about the end of the world. In 2005-2006 they supported Trivium on their UK tour along with Mendeed & Bloodsimple. In late 2006 and early 2007 they headlined the Chains of Humanity tour featuring Goatwhore, Mnemic, The Human Abstract, Byzantine, and Arsis. In 2006, God Forbid's "To the Fallen Hero," won the Independent Music Award for Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Song. They made a DVD which was released on June 10, 2008. I do not own Ben 10 or Heaven Forbid. I own nothing but my poi equipment. The story behind this video: Ken gets into a fight with his dad, and goes for a fly with his hoverboard, meeting up with Devlin (I think that's Kevin's son's name... correct me if I'm wrong.) along the way. The two of them sit down to talk, and then they get into a fight with Kevin. Kevin continues this fight, and whilst the quarrel is going on, Ben and Devlin look back on the happy times, (the happy times are the sepia tone parts) trying to get themselves motivated. But with Devlin having to fight his own dad, and Ken having gotten into a fight with his dad, things don't go as planned. Finally, in the end, Devlin gets thrown to the ground by his dad, and Ken goes off to fight Kevin by himself. Devlin gets upset and runs away in tears. The last sepia tone part is how the two of them wish it could have been at the time. The Nigerian Oil Delta region is a mess, with the increase of armed rebels, who are angry at the corrupt government and western oil companies. Our beautiful River is covered with the oil due the increase of oil spills carried out by Shell and other western oil companies, and the Delta people have no fresh water. The Fishes are also dying. In short it is a catastrophe for the Delta people. Man it makes me feel like being a rebel myself.
