Presentación del Ballet Folklorico Nacional (Bafona), en el Festival de Viña del Mar del 2006. Zona Sur: Sur de chile, zona de Chiloe y extremo sur. (Chiloe) * Aca encontraremos danzas como: Costillar, Periconas, Fandango, Rabel, Manzano, Zamba, Pequén, El Rin, Chocolate, Malaeña, Segrilla, etc. Zona Centro: Centro Sur y Centro de Chile. (Huaso) * Aca se encuentran alojados en el centro sur del País, con altas raíces de danzas españolas, dentro de las cuales son: Cueca, Polka, Sajuriana, Jota, Porteña, Corrido, Seguidilla, Chapecao, etc. Zona Norte: Norte de Chile (Carnaval y Religioso) * Estos montajes muestran las danzas de caracter festivo, del norte de chile, de la Zona del Altiplano, junto con esto los Bailes Religiosos, de un carácter de directa devoción y fervor religioso, para los cuales se mantienen las siguientes Danzas: Taquirari, Paloma, Tarqueada -- Diablada, Sambos, Morenos, Carnavalito, Cueca Nortina, El Torito, etc. Chile Insular o Polinesia: Rapa Nui * En Isla de Pascua existe una interesante música autóctona enraizadas en viejas tradiciones y leyendas transmitidas oralmente de generación en generación. En la imaginación de sus cantores se ha observado un folclor de cantos rurales que se diferencian con los cantos actuales de orígen Polinésico en que son de carácter más alegre. Una de sus manifestaciones es el Sau-Sau, que es un canto y danza popular pascuense de orígen samoano, que se ha convertido en un baile característico de la Isla. Además se interpretan otros cantos y danzas populares dedicados a sus dioses, a los espíritus guerreros, a la lluvia y al amor. Los pascuenses son buenos bailarines y parece que su gran pasión fuera la música y la danza. Son regionalistas y sólo bailan sus propios bailes como el popular "Sau-Sau", el " Tango Pascuense", el "Tari-Tarita" y otros bailes llegados de Tahiti. Las canciones son interpretadas por conjuntos o algunos cantores populares de la isla que se agrupan en torno a sus propios instrumentos musicales. , y comienzan a bailar y a cantar, palmoteando con sus manos, moviendo la cintura y la cabeza al mismo tiempo.
